Brian Wilkinson | 1973-2022
Remembering Brian
We were all shocked and saddened by the passing of a great man, our true friend and colleague, Brian Wilkinson. Brian had been with Aeronet since 2003. He was the first general manager of Aeronet Denver, and then, in 2020, moved to Tulsa to develop that market. Brian was also a valuable team player, and willingly jumped in whenever, and wherever, he was needed to help the business. He never turned down an opportunity to help. “Put me in, coach!” was his usual reply. This included organizing and managing shipment claims, assisting operations activities at the Aeronet Louisville facility, and just about anything else that needed his expertise, diligent effort, and velvet touch with customers.
To say that Brian will be missed is an understatement. You could meet Brian, and immediately hit it off with him. He was an honest, down-to-earth man. Always equipped with a smile, light-hearted humor, and quick wit, it was fun to play a round of golf with him or discuss college football (especially his alma mater Oklahoma State Cowboys). He also loved his son, Jarod, and would talk about him often. His positive attitude made any project seem doable, and any problem solvable. He was the first to raise his hand, offer his expertise, and get the job done.
Rest in Peace, Brian. “Ride ‘em Cowboys! O-S-U!”
Back in June, of this year, Brian recorded a birthday message for Aeronet’s founder, Chairman and CEO Tony Pereira. (Click below to view.)
